Cumin

Cumin is one of my favourite spices.  Did you know it has been around as long as the ancient Egyptians!  Not only was it used for cooking, but also in the mummification process.  Cumin was considered a symbol of love and faithfulness.
It is also quite rich in nutrients such as iron, copper, manganese, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin B1 and some great phytonutrients such as carotenoids.
You can’t have a curry without cumin!
