Did you know that high consumption of fibre can bind to minerals such as calcium, iron and zinc. If you are taking fibre supplements or eating fibre rich foods, then make sure you take your calcium, iron or zinc supplements at another time away from fibre.
Eating whole foods is important when it comes to fibre, so you get the right balance of vitamins, minerals, and fibre.
Some great supplement whole food fibres I would recommend are psyllium, slippery elm, linseeds and chia seeds!
