Chick Nuts
375g packet dried chick peas
Flavourings – mix paprika sea salt and sprinkle over hot chick nuts.
- Soak the chick peas in water overnight. Next day drain and pat dry with paper towels.
- Spread the chick peas in a single layer over a baking tray. Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for about 45 mins or until completely crisp. (they will shrink to their original size)
- Toss with a flavouring while hot, or cool and serve plain.
