Chick Nuts

375g packet dried chick peas

Flavourings – mix paprika sea salt and sprinkle over hot chick nuts.

  1. Soak the chick peas in water overnight.  Next day drain and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Spread the chick peas in a single layer over a baking tray.  Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for about 45 mins or until completely crisp. (they will shrink to their original size)
  3. Toss with a flavouring while hot, or cool and serve plain.
