Alfalfa sprouts 

This is the most commonly known sprout in the western world and was actually discovered by the Arabs who found it strengthening for themselves and their racehorses.  They named it and it means “father of all foods”.
This tiny sprout is one of the richest nutritionally of all the sprouts as its root system can reach 100 feet into the earth where it has access to minerals and trace elements that other plants can’t reach.
It has many health benefits which include detoxifying the body, cleans and tones the intestines and takes harmful acids out of the blood.  Can be used for arthritis (but not rheumatoid arthritis), swelling (oedema), weight loss, plantar warts, chronic sore throat, fevers and drug and alcohol addicition recovery.  It can even help nursing mothers produce more milk.  Kids usually love them too!
Alfalfa contains enzymes which help assimilate protein, fats and carbohydrates.  It is a great source of protein!, carotene equivalent to carrots, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, sodium, sulfur, silicon, chorine, cobalt and zinc.
Add it to salads and sandwiches or just eat it on its own!  It also comes in dried herb form that you can make a tea out of or capsules/tablets.
